Fancy a treat? Our High Wine lunch is made up of miniature tasters of our evening dishes served on etageres. You will be treated to a savoury tower and a tower of sweet treats along with a glass of fizz to truly indulge yourself!

There can be specials and surprises on the High Wine towers so please explain any dietary requirements when booking.

Available Friday to Sunday from 11:30am until 4:00pm.

One of the best meals I have ever had. Delicious food, excellent cocktails and fantastic service as well.Hope to see it become a dining destination in the UK.The Kitchen are also very accommodating with dietary requirements and provided excellent vegan and vegetarian options for our party.Looking forward to coming back.

Rae's are amazing supporters of local produce which is brilliant to see. The staff are friendly and inviting and the menu always has something a bit different to try. The place looks beautiful too - a brilliant addition to Montrose & the wider Angus area - well done Helen & the team :)

Tried Rae’s for the first time, and we were all impressed with the quality of food and service. I started with oysters and smoked duck appetizers, and had lamb neck for my main. The oysters were incredibly fresh having very clear juice and taste of the fresh sea. The duck was very supple and lightly smoked. The lamb was exquisite, no knife needed, and the robust flavors really came through. We will certainly return!

We've been to Rae's three times now - lunch and dinner. It does incredibly well to cater all tastes, even that of a 3 &4 year old (who very much enjoyed their "cocktails" of Beau's lemonade).The food is so clearly fresh, carefully selected and beautifully presented. A great asset to the area with healthy, local and delicious food.

Had a gorgeous meal here for mother's day. Great service, lovely surroundings and amazing food. Lovely to have something special, real attention to detail on the food. Lots of locally sourced ingredients and home baked cakes and bread etc. Great value for a brilliant three courses and prosecco. Looking forward to returning!
